
Dr. Chip and Jean Kingery
Home” for Chip Kingery, his wife Jean and children Keturah, Noah and Naomi has been Bangalore, India for over twenty years. In 1986, they began proVISION ASIA, dedicated to empowerment and advocacy of people with disabilities. Focused on the emotional and physical needs of these people, proVISION ASIA also addresses medical needs, job placement, education and socioeconomic needs of this community who comprise over 10 percent of India’s 1.3 billion population.
Born in Franklin, Virginia, Chip graduated from the University of Richmond.
Chip served as Associate Director of the Southwest Office of UNICEF in Dallas; Director for Asia of World Hunger Relief; and as Adjunct Professor of World Religions at Wake Forest University. Most recently he was International Director at the Joni and Friends International Disability Center in southern California.
